When Adina U-Birea hits the stage, music, dance and her background in theatre converge with mastery, promising an enjoyable experience for all. Whether she’s performing explosive, funky tunes or slow, melancholic songs, her audience is immediately captivated.

It’s been said that Adina’s clear and powerful voice is reminiscent to those of Karen Carpenter, ABBA or an earlier Christina Aguilera, conveying a myriad of nuances and elevating emotions, and has often been referred to as being therapeutic.

The Romanian-born singer, who moved to Ottawa ten years ago, is the songwriter of Get Out of My Head, a pop-disco funk single self-released on August 17, 2019. The high-energy, humorous tune, accompanied by a colorful and entertaining music video, represents the struggle to overcome obsessive love by connecting with oneself.

A versatile singer, Adina U-Birea performs in a variety of styles (pop, rock, soul, jazz, country, disco and musical theatre), as well as in five languages (English, French, Spanish, Romanian and Italian), taking her audience on a passionate and cathartic journey.

She is also a vocal coach at Sing Ottawa Studio and a beloved mentor to students of all ages. Adina teaches not only the art of singing but also the art of living an authentic artistic life, led by passion and self-confidence.
